The Jewish youth theatre "MACOR" is very young, but it has already its history. Everything began with the creation in 1992 the Jewish students' club " MACOR ". At that time it was the first and the only Jewish youth club in Vinnitsa. Young people got together to meet Shabats and to learn a lot of news about culture, history and traditions of the Jewish people.
      Practically at once the skeleton of the future theatre was formed from the members of the club. These were young people who arranged merry shows and theatrical performances on the subjects of Jewish holidays.
      In 1998 the theatre was awarded the rank of "National", confirmed by the appropriate diploma.
      With the theatre the "MICOL HALEV" dancing group
      (leader Gennady Novoseletsky); the vocalists - the honored worker of culture Roza Shevchenko, Victor Shevchenko, Natalya Krikunenko; jazz collective closely cooperate.
      All this time the collective is supervised by the permanent director of the theatre Irina Bayguzina.
      Having the speciality of a psychologist and a wide experience of the leader of youth collectives, she skilfully directs the energy of the participants of the theatre into the necessary channel, which creates a favorable atmosphere for creative work.
